On Tuesday, July 30, the Detroit City Council commenced their official meeting with a testimonial resolution honoring the Hip Hop group 5 ELA for the historical contribution to the city’s music legacy. The resolution was read by Mary Waters, Council Member at Large, on behalf of the entire Detroit City Council, and was accepted during the ceremony by 5 ELA’s Reginald “Mudd” Moorer, followed by a photo session with his family and the City Council.
